Terence Smith Terence Smith was part of the research team in South Africa, based at the School of Development Studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He currently works as a researcher at the Built Environment Support Group, an urban development NGO in Durban. His current areas of research include participatory planning and budgeting processes, integrated development planning and intergovernmental relations in South Africa.
